Honors Day: May 6
Each
time we celebrate our accomplishments, let us also reflect on God’s presence in
all we have achieved. We acknowledge and give thanks for all the opportunities
and privileges that God has afforded us. We are grateful for the talents and
skills with which God has blessed us. We also acknowledge that we accomplished
nothing alone, that God has sent many people to help and guide us. On days when
we honor our accomplishments, we must also pause to honor God for all we have
been given.
